RECORDING A CALL

HOW TO RECORD A CALL?

Tap “Contacts” or “Keypad” to choose a contact or enter the phone number directly.
Start outgoing call. The app will offer to dial a Service Number first. This number will handle the recording for you.
While being connected to the service number, you will be prompted to dial your contact.
Merge calls. You may join the conversation now.

HOW MUCH DOES A CALL COST?

When using the app to record a conversation with a person, you are charged for two calls: the call to the service number and the call to the number chosen by you. The cost of the call to service number depends on the location of the service number provider that is suitable and close to you. Choosing an appropriate service number helps to reduce costs.

HOW DOES THE CALL RECORDING HAPPEN?

CallRecorder uses the conference call feature in order to record phone conversations. The dedicated service number is dialled every time recording should happen and is used as a “participant” of a conference call to record a conversation between two (or more) people. After the call is finished, the conversation recorded by the service number is saved on the server after which you can download it on your device.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO RECORD A CALL WITH SEVERAL PEOPLE?

Yes, it is possible. You can use “add call” and then “merge call” buttons on the default call options screen. Conference call feature supports up to five participants. Remember to always tap the “merge calls” button.

WHERE ARE ALL THE RECORDINGS STORED?

All the recordings are stored permanently on our servers. This means that you can download them on your device any time you want if you continue using the same phone number.

DO I HAVE THE RIGHT TO RECORD PHONE CALLS?

The recording of telephone conversations is strictly regulated in many countries. Please, make sure you refer to the respective country’s laws. The product publisher is not responsible for any violations of law committed by the users of the Call Recorder app. For further reference check Phone Recording Laws.

SUBSCRIPTION

WHICH ADVANTAGES DOES THE SUBSCRIPTION GIVE?

Subscription enables you to record calls without any limitations. Without an active subscription, you will not be able to record your conversations. However, you still will be able to listen to your previously recorded conversations even without a subscription.

BUSINESS PACK

WHAT IS BUSINESS PACK?

Business Pack allows users to use three apps for one business pack subscription. Business Pack includes “Scanner PDF – Scan Documents”, “Second Phone Number for Me” and “Call Recorder for Me” apps.

HOW TO ACTIVATE BUSINESS PACK?

To activate Business Pack you are to start subscription in “Scanner PDF – Scan Documents”, “Call Recorder for Me” or “Second Phone Number for Me” app and register. Then download the others app from Business Pack and log in on the Landing screen or through the Settings screen.

MANAGING RECORDINGS

HOW CAN I FIND MY RECORDINGS?

To find your recordings you can switch to Call Records on the tap bar to open the Recordings screen. You can download or play a recording.
After you tap on a recording, the app will download it and start playing it automatically.

HOW CAN I MANAGE MY RECORDINGS?

To either rename or delete a recording, you can do the following:
Tap the Call Records button to open Call Records screen;
Swipe left and you can delete your record;
Tap a recording to play it as well as share it via player options.

HOW CAN I SHARE MY RECORDINGS?

In order to share a recording, you can do this:
Tap the Call Records button to open Call Records screen;
Tap the Share button on the record and choose the way you want to share the recording.

TROUBLESHOOTING

WHY DOES A RECORDING NOT APPEAR ON THE LIST?

If a recording does not appear on the recordings list, try switching screens. For example, click Keypad then go back to Call Records screen. Or swipe the screen down in order to get the refreshed data from the server.

WHY DOES THE RECORDING NOT BEING FROM THE START OF THE CONVERSATION?

The app begins the recording of a conversation only after you merge the existing calls into a conference call. The part of the conversation before the merge will be lost.
